The Chicago Sky are trying to avoid a third straight loss Wednesday when it hosts a Washington Mystics team which has dropped its last three. Being at home won’t help Chicago as the Sky are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.
Washington took the previous game as Emma Meesseman tallied 16 points and 11 rebounds for her first career double-double in a 79-68 home win over Chicago on June 13. Delle Donne, Fowles and Breland didn’t play for the Sky, who shot 38.2 percent and were outscored 25-15 in the final quarter. Rest will do good for the Washington Mystics, who are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 3 or more days rest.
The Sky are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Wednesday games. It doesn’t help that they have lost nine of 12, including the last two on a five-game trip.
